Robert and Evelyn Wagner and their daughters moved their vegetable farm from Elk Grove Village to Naperville in 1961.     They grew many acres of sweet corn for grocery stores, farmstands, and the South Water Street Market in Chicago and carrots and tomatoes for the Campbell Soup Company.

When the Wagner girls were old enough, they started selling their home grown vegetables along the road to the occasional customer driving by.  Now, some 40 years later, the Wagners still have the same location along Route 59.  The little red table under the mulberry tree has been replaced by a building, and the occasional car has been replaced by a constant stream of traffic on a busy four lane highway.  Sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, squash, and many more vegetables are grown by the Wagner family just for the farmstand business.  Their sweet corn is picked daily during the summer season, and many different varieties of tomatoes and peppers are planted each year.

The farmstand is open daily from mid July until October 31.
